It has the consistency of felt so it can be used to add dimension to your embroider yet it is soft and is easy on your machine and needles with none of the hassle you encountered with puffy foam. Simply place the Wash-Away-Puffy-Felt on top of the item you wish to embroider and stitch. Other applications include cutwork and lace work. Once completed, wash the item in warm water and the Wash-Away-Puffy-Felt will wash-away leaving you with a three-dimensional embroidery look. This pack contains five 8” x 8” pre-cut squares."
