We have sold tens of thousands of spools of Hilos Iris thread under other brand names and now we would like to introduce it to you under its real name, Hilos Iris. Hilos Iris has developed Trilobal Polyester to be used on high-speed computerized embroidery machines. It has a very uniform and controlled lubrication, which results in the formation of very even embroidery. Due to its tenacity and low stretching quality, breakage is notably reduced thus increasing productivity. The fill quality is simply the best we have ever tested for a 40-weight embroidery thread, The Ultrabrite luster rivals Rayon and is the brightest and shiniest polyester embroidery thread we have seen. Iris thread is resistant to high temperature ironing, caustic detergents and heavy chlorine washes. It also resists abrasive agents and has excellent properties toward light and sea water. Its quality makes it ideal for embroidering leather, monograms, high quality decorations and other applications such as: Sport clothing, shoes, caps, and emblems. Great for Uniforms and any kind of industrial clothing which has embroidery that requires lustrous shine and can support strong detergent and bleach. It is used in embroidery for childrens clothing due to its flame retardant quality.
